a few. She has been long and short-listed with the USET for that period
of time as well, which has given her access to the top trainers in the
world.
She has students that have competed successful from training level to
Grand Prix. They have also competed in Pan American Games, Olympic Sports
Festivals, World Cup, World Equestrian Games and Olympics. She has competed
in the World Championships in Toronto, 2 Olympic Sports Festivals, and
in Europe. She has achieved many year-end Awards on her various Grand

Prix Freestyle Champion), St. Laurent, Midas Touch, Perspective, Master
of the Games, and Melville. Currently she is competing Melville, who
represented the United States at the Coupe Des Ameriques in Quebec,
where she and Melville won the Bronze Medal and were second in the Grand
Prix Special.
She was second in the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Freestyle at NEDA
and at Devon. Pamela Goodrich spends the winter in West Palm Beach competing
in the Winter Circuit Foster Meadow is a dressage training, teaching,
and sales barn. Because of the location, many people trailer in for
lessons, or come for a few days for intense training. There are people
who have their horses in training full time, which includes lessons
on the horse daily. Also, there are always quality horses for sale,
from young horses to horses that have more training.

Street (Main Street) in downtown Midway. The Gallery offers premium
spirits, liqueurs, wines and beers.
About
the Artist: Jaime Corum is a Kentucky artist currently living in Louisville.
Her artwork is inspired by the equine form which she renders primarily
in oil paint, oil pastel, charcoal and graphite pencil. Her works range
in size from small to very large. Jaime has ridden and been close to
horses nearly all her life and she spends much of her free time with
her horse, Chesapeake. This hands on experience gives her an insider's
eye for the horse's form, expression and movement.
Jaime received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bellarmine University
in Louisville, KY (1996), and received a Master of Fine Arts Degree
from the University of Kentucky in 2000. Her artwork has been exhibited
regularly by galleries in Kentucky and her private commissioned works
are in collections throughout the US. Jaime has a studio at the Mellwood
Art Center in Louisville. For more information, visit jaimecorum.com

Congratulations to Cheri and Stephanie Sims on the purchase
of San Francisco - a 13 year old Dutch Warmblood.
He
was formerly owned by Dede Rosenfeld of Amenia, NY. She had owned him
since he came to the US as a 3 year old. He has competed through Intermediare.
He is not an eventer but loves to trail ride. Cheri says "I plan
to compete him when I learn to ride!! and Stephanie is planning to compete
him in YR Dressage when she come home from Vanderbilt."
Ben Starr Retires (partly): Ben is a 17 year old, bay TB gelding.
He was born in 1990 and raced in Tucson, AZ. He competed in dressage until
he was 8 when Candy Wallace and Martha Lambert co-owned him and turned
him into an event horse. He competed through the prelim level with Martha.
Rachel Zoller bought him in 2000 and competed training
through advanced level. Rachel and Ben completed two CCI*'s - placing
first and second - and one CIC**.
In 2006, Rachel was the 1st placed advanced young rider for Area VIIIl
and placed 6th for all advanced riders in Area VIII. Ben placed 5th
for advanced horses in Area VIII and Rachel placed 10th in the U.S.
for advanced young riders. Rachel and Ben placed 21st in the advanced
division of the Gold Cup Series.
They had hopes of competing in a CIC*** in 2007, but
Ben pulled a suspensory tendon in May of 2007 which ended their career
earlier than planned. A full recovery is expected and beginning in 2008,
Janet Wygal Zoller, Rachel's mom, will continue on with Ben with plans
to compete him at least through the training level.
(Photo: Rachel and Ben competing advanced at Richland Park H.T. in 2006,
finished 3rd)
In Memory of Monkey Business: Monkey passed away in 2007 at
an unknown age but probably in his late twenties. He was 14.1, brown,
exact breeding is unknown but possibly TB/Morgan/quarter horse gelding.
The Zoller's bought Monkey from Jan Byyny in 1997, who had competed
him through prelim. Rachel competed him beginner novice through training
with great success. The Price's bought him in 1999 and Shawn competed
him through training Monkey was novice horse of the year multiple times.
Shawn's younger brother Sam competed him until he was retired at the
Price's home. He was loved and adored by many and will always be remembered
as the wonder pony!
Autobiography of the Month: Mackenzie Spaes & Never Ben Kissed
My name is Mackenzie Spaes. I bought Ben when I was in Florida in March.
I tried out about 9 horses. I went with my instructor Carrie Barrick.
We were debating whether or not to go look at Ben, because he was older
then the other horses, but what a great decision to buy him.
I have done many shows with Ben including: 1st at Flying Cross Mini
Tria l- Beginner Novice, 9th at May-Daze Horse Trials - Beginner Novice,
3rd at Indiana Horse Trials - Beginner Novice, 9th Spring Run Horse
Trials - Beginner Novice, 7th Midsouth Horse Trials - Beginner Novice,
4th Spring Run Mini Tria l- Novice, 6th South Farm Horse Trial -Novice.
I am now a C2 in Covered Bridge Pony Club. Ben helped me get my C2
rating. He is such a great Pony Club mount, and has taken me to my first
C Rally and he was fabulous!
